The Golden Bachelor – Following In Matt’s Footsteps
As soon as the news hit that there would be another Bachelor spin off, fans just wanted to know. Now there are rumors that Patty James is talking to ABC and Bachelor Nation about appearing on the show as one of the lucky singles looking to find love again. An insider told Page Six, “Matt’s mom, Patty is speaking with producers about competing on the new season.” Matt appeared on the Bachelor as the first Black Bachelor in 2021. He was on Season 25 of the popular dating show.
Of course, Matt’s mother is a huge fan of the show ever since she saw her son finding love on it. Matt’s mother wasn’t sure if he would find love on the show, but he did end up with Rachael Kirkconnell, but later broke up with her because of racist behavior in the past.

Bachelor Nation has been trying to produce shows that will continue to draw in viewers. The Bachelor and The Bachelorette have been incredibly popular, as well as Bachelor In Paradise.
