Ali Fedotowsky-Manno Just Learned She Has A Half-Sister And She’s Excited For The “Blessing”

The former Bachelorette star, Ali Fedotowsky-Manno, is happy to learn that she has a half-sister. To her, a bigger family is all she’s been asking for.

Ali is looking forward to knowing her half-sister more in the coming days after discovering her existence through DNA testing. She told her fans of the “blessing” on Instagram this Tuesday.

She began the post by sharing that she had just spent “the absolute best few days” with her sister, Tonya, Tonya’s husband and two children: “All people that I didn’t even know existed just one year ago.”

She explained, “I wanted to learn more about my grandma Molly. My [daughter] Molly is named after her and she meant so much to me so I decided to do a DNA test to learn more about her.”

She continued by sharing that when the results came in she was so excited to learn more about her grandmother that she initially ignored the fact that there was someone else she never knew who popped up under “close relative”. When she finally had time to think about it, she first thought it would be a cousin and moved on with her day.

“It turns out that Tonya had also taken a DNA test and she got alerted to the fact that she matched with me,” Fedotowsky-Manno continued. She then read that the person could be either an aunt, a grandma or half-sibling. It was then that she realized that she had found her half-sister.

“Crazy right?!?!” Fedotowsky-Manno said about Tonya’s discovery.

Fedotowsky-Manno joked that Tonya had Googled her name and read up on all that “bunch of Bachelorette nonsense”, before she reached out to the star’s father, who connected them.

Fedotowsky-Manno gushed that “It’s been the biggest blessing ever!”

She added, “I took the test and never looking for a sister or expecting to find one. But oh my gosh I’m so glad I did!”

Fedotowsky-Manno also praised Tonya as being “funny, laid-back, down to earth,” and added that “even if she wasn’t my sibling I’d want to be her friend.”

The reality star shared the heartwarming post alongside a string of pictures with her two kids — Molly, 5, and Riley, 4, whom she shares with husband Kevin Manno — spending time with their new cousins, aunt and uncle.

“So crazy how life can change so quickly,” she wrote. “I think I told you guys this before but I’ve always wanted a bigger family and I feel like my wish came true.”
