Earlier this month, photos of Theresa Nist taking out the trash leaked. She was downcast in the photos that were first published in The U.S. Sun.

The successful day trader wore a makeup-free look with gray sweats. Theresa caught word of those photos going viral on social media.

So, she decided to stage her own “trash” photoshoot. Theresa snapped a series of photos of herself wearing a floral print dress. She emptied a white trash can. Some fans think she was trolling her soon-to-be ex-husband Gerry Turner.

“The Golden Bachelor star Theresa Nist was seen taking out the trash inside her office,” the post read. “Theresa wore a short dress from Zara and a hint of berry lipstick to do the chore but left her cell phone on her desk. This was the second time Theresa was spotted since she and Gerry announced their divorce. The trash can appeared to be empty.”

Most fans thought the “trash” referred to Gerry Turner. Many of them flocked to the comment section of the post to react.

Bachelor Nation alumni rallied around Theresa Nist. Bachelor in Paradise bad boy Brayden Bowers shared his support for Theresa. He claims that she meant nothing wrong with her post.

“For everyone getting on her it wasn’t shade toward Gerry, it was towards the media who took pictures of her taking out her trash at home and writing an article about it,” Brayden explained.

He wasn’t the only one. Susie Evans from Season 26 of The Bachelor commended Theresa for the way she’s handled this situation.
