Todd Chrisley and his family boasted about their luxurious lifestyles on Chrisley Knows Best. But after both Todd and Julie Chrisley received prison sentences, their daughter Savannah Chrisley got a reality check about her frivolous spending habits.
Find out what Savannah confessed about how Todd raised her. And learn what she shared about her hope that the family’s new reality TV show and a possible appearance on the Bachelorette can boost her income. Get all the details below.
Savannah Chrisley – Loved To Spend Money Freely
Todd Chrisley and Julie Chrisley joined their children in sharing their love of luxury on their reality TV show Chrisley Knows Best. But then the Chrisley Knows Best patriarch and matriarch received convictions for conspiracy to commit bank fraud as well as tax fraud. And as they moved from their mansion to prison, Savannah found herself the guardian of her younger family members.
As a result, the 26-year-old reality TV star told ET that she had to face the downside of her fondness for carefree spending. And Savannah confessed that she grew up learning to spend her money “like it was never ever gonna go away. I will make no bones about it.”
But when Todd’s and Julie’s daughter went from relying on her parents to taking care of her younger family members Grayson Chrisley and Chloe Chrisley, she got a new appreciation of what money means. And Savannah shared, “I feel like what is happening right now is exactly what I needed to not be this spoiled, entitled whatever. Because what’s happening now is testing who I am as a person,” she added. “It took away a lot of things.”

Savannah Chrisley – Looks Forward To New Reality Shows
However, a new reality TV show about the Chrisley clan has given Savannah hope for more money. And she described the show as “so fun, so interesting, [and] very different” than Chrisley Knows Best. For instance, the new show will discuss her parents’ legal issues in prison.
And Savannah also will showcase her role caring for her younger family members. But she admitted that the situation has tested her. However, as a substitute parent, Savannah feels that she landed “the hardest but most rewarding job I will ever have.”
And Savannah also plans to include her dating life in the show. “I’m a single parent dating,” she pointed out. And the Chrisley Knows Best alum shared that she tells prospective dates that dating her means dating her siblings as well.
Chase Chrisley – Joins Savannah Chrisley On Dating Shows?
However, both Savannah and her brother Chase Chrisley have considered other reality TV shows. And she plans to feature the siblings completing each other’s The Bachelor and The Bachelorette applications on her podcast. “It would be interesting for sure. Imagine the first Bachelor/Bachelorette, brother/sister duo,” she said. “The whole process of filling out the application on my podcast Unlocked, was hysterical.”
But Savannah also accepted a role on the second season of Special Forces: World’s Toughest Test. Because Savannah feels she doesn’t want to refuse any opportunities, she decided to try it out. “If an opportunity presents itself I’m taking it,” she said. “And I’m running with it. It’s more so for the kids too, to show them that it doesn’t matter what comes your way, everyone’s gonna try to beat you down, everyone’s gonna try to cancel you. And you just show up, you say yes, and you put your best foot forward.”
