Todd Chrisley Makes Significant Social Media Change Before Prison

Todd Chrisley went through several stages over his criminal charges. For instance, at first the Chrisley Knows Best patriarch protested his innocence. And then Todd vowed to fight back. 

But after receiving prison sentences, both Todd and his wife Julie Chrisley finally started to plan for what seemed inevitable. And for the Chrisley patriarch, that included social media changes. Get all the details below. 

Todd Chrisley – Makes Social Media Switch Before Prison 

Just days before reporting to prison, Todd Chrisley realized he needed to figure out how to handle his social media behind bars. And that decision included his son Grayson. Because Todd previously supervised Grayson’s Instagram, the Chrisley family patriarch decided to turn it over to the teenager, according to TV Show Ace.

Todd and Julie received prison sentence surrender dates of Tuesday, January 17. As a result, the Chrisley Knows Best stars needed to spend the New Year figuring out how to tie up loose ends. And that included social media.

Todd will spend 12 years behind bars. And Julie will remain in prison for seven years. However, the prison sentence surrender dates did allow the couple to spend the holidays with their family.

Savannah Chrisley – Takes Charge In Several Ways

But although Todd decided to let his son Grayson control his own Instagram, his daughter Savannah plays the lead role in the family’s social media. And Savannah even claimed on a podcast that she manages her father’s social media pages. However, her mother Julie controls her own social media. As a result, the star of Growing Up Chrisley may need to arrange to take charge during her mom’s prison sentence.

And Todd’s daughter offered some interesting insights about the family’s social media on her podcast. For instance, Savannah revealed that to avoid too many problems, she keeps comments limited. But now that Grayson controls his own Instagram, he reportedly followed his sister’s lead and keeps comments limited as well.

And with both Todd and Julie in prison, Savannah will take on a new role in the Chrisley Knows Best clan. That involves both her younger brother Grayson and her niece Chloe. And Savannah revealed that she will assume custody of her brother and niece. As a result, it seems that Todd’s and Julie’s daughter will become Grayson’s legal guardian. And that could put her in charge of Grayson’s social media despite Todd’s changes.
