Todd Chrisley recently headed to prison to begin his lengthy sentence for fraud and tax evasion. And the Chrisley Knows Best star’s daughter Lindsie opened up about her dad’s experience thus far in prison on a new podcast.
But in contrast to Todd’s other daughter Savannah, Lindsie painted a picture that sounds like Todd has enjoyed life as a social butterfly with fabulous friends behind bars.
Find out what Chrisley’s daughter Lindsie revealed about her imprisoned father. And learn what a prison consultant revealed. Get all the details below.
Todd Chrisley – Makes ‘Great Friends’ In Prison, Says Daughter
Chrisley Knows Best star Todd Chrisley has formed strong friendships in prison, according to his daughter Lindsie Chrisley. And Lindsie insisted that her father even looks better. In PodcastOne’s The Southern Tea, Lindsie discussed Todd’s life after starting his 12-year sentence at a Florida prison for fraud and tax evasion via Page Six.
Lindsie, 33, dished the details in a talk with a prison consultant. And she described her most recent visit with her father. “My last visit with my dad, I couldn’t stop telling him how great that he looked,” she shared with prison consultant Justin Paperny, who advised Todd and his wife Julie Chrisley. “He looks very very good. I told him, I said, ‘Even your hair looks better, a little bit longer and a little bit grayer.’ His nails aren’t completely bitten off,” added Lindsie.
The Chrisley Knows Best alum, who Todd shares with his ex-wife Teresa Terry, believes that her father mentally seems “in such a better place. His spirits are great,” shared Lindsie. “He is really just embracing the process there and making the best of the process there with the people that are also there serving time with him. He’s made great friends. He talks about his friends there.”
Todd Chrisley is in a great place during his prison stint — and we don't just mean a jail cell … apparently, he's quite the social butterfly, according to one of his daughters. https://t.co/3LNwe7VLkT

Todd Chrisley – Will ‘Learn’ From Fellow Inmates, Says Expert
However, as a prison consultant, Paperny added a unique perspective. And the expert claimed that Todd, 54, will “learn” from his fellow inmates. But Paperny also believes that Todd’s mood should get “better. Because reform has happened,” added the consultant about prisons. And “more reform is coming.”
But Lindsie’s half-sister Savannah Chrisley continues to feel upset about her parents’ guilty verdicts. And she revealed that she will “never forget the moment, sitting in that courtroom every day, a four-week trial. And it took three days for the verdict to come back. I will never forget when they stood up to read the verdicts,” added Savannah.
“And it was like, guilty, guilty, guilty, like over and over and over again,” recalled the Chrisley Knows Best alum. But Savannah felt most emotional when she looked at her parents. “And I just saw the looks on my parents’ faces and just everything, they were just in tears. We were not expecting that,” she admitted. And the Chrisley Knows Best alum recalled, “We were like, ‘There’s no way.’”
After receiving sentences for a combined 19 years in prison for fraud and tax evasion in November, Todd and Julie began to serve at different prisons. Todd started his 12-year sentence in January at Federal Prison Camp Pensacola. And Julie, 50, began her seven-year sentence at at Federal Correctional Institution and Federal Prison Camp Marianna. However, each Chrisley Knows Best star also will serve 16 months on probation after release.

I have no use for Lindsie Chrisley. She betrayed her parents before and is now seeking the spotlight.
