As fans already know, Todd and Julie Chrisley are up to their eyeballs in restitution fees. They’re ordered to pay close to $30 million for bank wire fraud and tax evasion. The reality TV couple is currently serving time for their Federal crimes. The Chrisleys are selling their multi-million dollar house, which could pay off their fees. Read on to learn more.

The Chrisley Knows Best stars were first sentenced for tax evasion and fraud. They had to pay restitution fees. This is common for people who have been accused of bank and wire fraud. The couple is hoping to get back some money so they can pay back some of the money ordered by the courts.

Earlier this month, they reached a small victory in court. People reported that Todd and Julie were awarded one million dollars, which went toward the hefty fine.

In addition, Savannah Chrisley tried to pay $17 million in restitution money. She initially felt that paying the restitution fee would be an admission of guilt.

However, she had a change of heart after the backlash she’s gotten. Savannah has rebranded her image after decrying the Federal Government.

The Growing Up Chrisley star announced on social media that she opened her home to those without Christmas cheer. She’s also starting a charity to help inmates pay their legal fees.

Chrisley Family Home For Sale

The latest news on TMZ reveals that Todd and Julie Chrisley’s family house is being sold for $5.2 million. The couple purchased the home in 2018 for $3.38 million.

This is a good profit, which could help pay some of their restitution. According to the report, the house was sold to someone outside of the Chrisley family.

Despite the rumors, Chase Chrisley’s trust didn’t purchase the home. A young couple in their 40s are the lucky sellers. The Chrisley will make good money from the sale. They also invested more into the home in hopes that they could pay off their restitution.

Todd and Julie Chrisley never pleaded guilty. Nor did they take a plea deal. The couple maintains their innocence to this day. Most fans believe the couple sold the house to pay the restitution. They just haven’t outwardly admitted it yet.
