Tom Sandoval Gives Statement On Vanderpump Rules Recasting, Fans React

Bravo announced the full recasting of Vanderpump Rules and Tom Sandoval made a statement about it. Many people reacted to what he said, and he seems to have gotten a surprising amount of support. 

Tom Sandoval Cost The Cast Their Jobs?

When Tom cheated on Ariana Madix with Rachel Leviss, you might have thought that World War 3 was here. The media went crazy, everyone had an opinion and “Scandoval” became the catch term of the year. But was that the reason why the Bravo show has been recast for Season 12?

When the bombshell news hit that Lisa Vanderpump and Bravo would replace all the OGs on the show, Vanderpump Rules fans were not ready to hear it. Not that there hadn’t been rumors of a big shakeup or even a cancellation of the show. Naturally, some fans blamed Tom Sandoval for the fallout. But, now, he is getting some support. 

Tom Sandoval Gives A Statement

Rumors ran around that Ariana Madix was demanding a lot of money. Then in Season 11, she wouldn’t film with Tom. And that seemed unfair to the rest of the OGs. So, it was thought that Ariana’s demands might cause the show to end. After all, not all of the cast could earn the same amount as she did. In the end, whatever happened, they are all out of a job now. 

Plenty of cast members already gave statements, but Tom Sandoval only posted his on Instagram on Saturday. It was a lengthy caption that he wrote, but he made no excuses. That seems to be something that he learned the hard way from Special Forces: World’s Toughest Test.  

In part, the Bravo alum, who will soon appear on The Traitors, Season 3 said:

The foundation of Vanderpump Rules was built on pure honest raw emotions… triumphs, struggles, and love that happen between a group of real friends and our relationships. As soon as we started filming s–t got real and never turned back. It’s been a roller coaster ride and you’ve been with us though every step of the way.

He also said that he’s gained important insights and undergone personal development. Even with the challenges, Tom Sandoval feels thankful…and will always appreciate all the memories.

Vanderpump Rules Fans React

A year ago, no matter what Ariana’s ex might said would have brought thousands of nasty comments. However, people appreciate that the former Bravo star has made an effort to improve himself. So, a surprising amount of encouraging comments arrived. Here are a few of them:

• Tom I appreciate your post and your genuine takeaway from your experiences. To me, that is true growth.
• Well said Tom! Who’d of thought a kid from Hazelwood West would’ve done something like this!
• Tom I have followed you over the years. You have shown we are all human and deserve that second or third chances. I look forward to hearing good things about you.
• Thank you for unselfishly sharing your life with us in good times and bad. Just know, one moment doesn’t define you!
