However, Ariana also took action. For instance, the 38-year-old Vanderpump Rules star made money by creating breakup merchandise. And she accepted offers ranging from a role in a Lifetime movie to an invitation to the White House Correspondents’ Dinner.

I was like, ‘This is crazy.’ But it was also happening in the midst of not eating and not sleeping. It was a weird juxtaposition of emotions and feelings.”

However, since moving on, Madix appreciates the aftermath. For instance, she confessed, “I can’t believe there was a mention made during the White House Correspondents’ Dinner. The president heard it. I was like, ‘That’s awesome’.”

But the Vanderpump Rules star shared that she still feels outraged at both Sandoval and Leviss. And instead, Ariana prefers to focus on how fans have supported her. “Sometimes I’ll go to the mall and meet someone who’s been through a similar situation. And then we’ll talk in the middle of Sephora and cry and hug each other.”

But Madix noted that the scandal boosted Vanderpump Rules in the ratings. And she pointed out, “I know it’s a show, and it’s very entertaining, and I’m happy about that, but it’s also my real life. Sometimes that line is blurred, but of course, I want the show to do well.”

And rumors have soared about the potential for a Vanderpump Rules spin-off starring Ariana. Madix responded with enthusiasm to the concept. “Sure. Why not? [I’d bring] all the girls. And James [Kennedy].” And amid her girl squad, Ariana has remained close to Lala Kent, Scheana Shay and Katie Maloney. “They’ve been there for me, physically in the sense of coming over or giving me a place to go, and giving me advice and being there to cheer me up.”
