Vanderpump Rules – Star Ariana Madix Stars In Lifetime Movie!

From pitied victim of a cheating scandal to a movie star. Vanderpump Rules cast member Ariana Madix just might feel as if she boarded a roller-coaster this month.

But after her heartbreak in learning Tom Sandoval cheated on her, Ariana’s roller-coaster ride finally has gone from a downward spiral to soaring. And the 37-year-old Vanderpump Rules star just nabbed a role in Lifetime’s film, Buying Back My Daughter, according to Us magazine.

Ariana will star with Meagan Good in the upcoming drama. It focuses on a mother named Dana, played by Good, who discovers that her daughter Alicia is being sex trafficked on an escort website. And Dana becomes determined to take on the situation. Madix will portray a police officer named Karen.

And Buying Back My Daughter will show the Vanderpump Rules star’s character investigating the case. However, Karen also deals with her own personal link to the situation. In addition to Ariana, Rodger Cross and Faith Wright will star as Dana’s husband, Curtis, and daughter. Filming has begun. However, Lifetime has not yet revealed the release date.

Vanderpump Rules – Star Ariana Returns To Her Acting Career

Madix started her acting career in 2008. And she made her film debut in Swing Vote: What Side Are You On. Since then, the Vanderpump Rules star has taken on roles in various movies. For instance, Ariana appeared in Dead End in 2019. And she also starred in an episode of Paradise City.

However, Madix’s reality TV life has contained more drama than in all her movies put together. For nine years, Ariana and Sandoval enjoyed a relationship. But then Madix learned that Tom cheated on her with their Vanderpump Rules co-star Raquel Leviss. And the affair reportedly went on for months without Ariana’s knowledge.

After the cheating news broke, Tom took to Instagram to apologize to his now-former girlfriend. “I want to apologize to Ariana,” he shared. And Sandoval admitted that he “made mistakes, I was selfish and made reckless decisions that hurt somebody I love. No one deserves to feel that pain so traumatically and publicly.”

However, the Vanderpump Rules star made special mention of the fact that he cheated on his girlfriend after nearly a decade together. And he wrote, “My biggest regret is that I dishonored Ariana. I never meant to disappoint so many people, including our loving families and friends.” But Leviss followed Tom’s lead. And she wrote, “I want to apologize for my actions and my choices foremost to Ariana, and to my friends and the fans so invested in our relationships.”

Raquel also admitted that she has “no excuse. I am not a victim,” she added. “And I must own my actions and I deeply regret hurting Ariana.”
