A new contestant on this week’s The Masked Singer was Clock, and they made it to the next round without any issues or the need to take part in the Smackdown round. Still, the big question on everyone’s mind is … who could it be? Let’s look deeper into the clues.
“The Masked Singer” – What The Clock Performed
This week’s special theme on The Masked Singer focused on Billy Joel songs. The Clock performed his beautiful “Piano Man” medley and moved on to the next round. Still, because of the Joel song that was chosen, fans listened intently to try and figure out if Clock’s voice could offer any clues.
Jenny McCarthy-Walberg stated that Clock carried herself like a “diva” or “queen”. In Clock’s clue package was a Watch & Clock Maker shop where the performer noted she was “timeless”.
She goes on to say that at one time, she was the “belle of the ball”, and then a disco ball appeared. Clock added that she had the entire world “dancing from dusk ‘til dawn”.
Clock went on to say that as time went on, people soon forgot her and she felt as if she was “frozen” in time; as such, she reinvented herself and achieved great success again.
Clock states she performed for the President and “spun” a Golden Globe. In addition, The Men in Black played Joel’s “Vienna” and Clock noted she has a “date” in her name.
The Masked Singer – Who Is Clock?
After Clock’s song was done and her last clue was given, the panelist tried to guess who she was. Jenny’s guess was Anita Baker, while Ken Jeong agreed.
Meanwhile, Robin Thicke noted that the disco ball could be Evelyn “Champagne” King, that’s when Jeong guessed Diana Ross.
Diana Ross is a good guess considering she performed for President Joe Biden and has won Golden Globes in the past; however, some are speculating online that Clock could be Bette Midler, for the same reasons.
