Bob Saget, Full House Patriarch, Dead At 65

Popular funny guy and Full House Patriarch Bob Saget has been found dead in his Florida hotel. Saget was found about four pm this afternoon and pronounced dead on the scene. Details of his death are unclear at the moment.

Full House Patriarch

The iconic comedian and actor is best known for his role as Danny Tanner on Full House. Sources close to Saget say he passed away at the Ritz-Carlton in Orlando this afternoon. The Orange County Sheriff’s office reports that Saget’s death is a mystery to them. Law Enforcement says there are no signs of foul play or any red flags presently. The Orange County Sheriff’s Office says, “On arrival, they located a man who was unresponsive in a hotel room. The man, identified as Robert Lane Saget, (DOB: 5/17/1956), was pronounced deceased on scene. We have no information on cause of death, and detectives have found no signs of foul play or drug use in this case. This is all the information we have for release at this time and we do not anticipate further updates.” The medical examiner’s office will have to make the final call on the case of death after their examination is finished.

Saget’s Country Tour

Sources say that Saget has been touring the country since September and hitting a lot of locations in Florida including his Orlando stop. The tour was supposed to last through May. Saget was in Jacksonville, Florida on Saturday night at the Ponte Vedra Concert Hall. Sources say that Saget even shouted out the crowd this morning. Saget recently posted the following on his Twitter account, “Loved tonight’s show @PV_ConcertHall in Jacksonville. Appreciative audience. Thanks again to @RealTimWilkins for opening. Saget’s Full House Co-Stars

Bob played the role of Danny Tanner for almost 10 years. Saget’s co-stars were John Stamos, Dave Coulier, Candace Cameron, Jodie Sweetin as well as Mary-Kate, and Ashley Olsen, who swapped the duties of portraying Michelle. Laurie Loughlin was also a co-star as well. However, the clean-cut Full House father was not who Saget was in the real world. Saget’s comedy routines have been known to get pretty raunchy by most standards. Saget will also be remembered for America’s Funniest Home Videos as well. However, he never had the success that he had on Full House with any other show.
