Criscilla Anderson, dancer, choreographer, and reality TV star passed away on December 3, 2025. Before her passing, she wrote an amazing letter to her family that seemed wonderful and incredibly sad at the same time. Read on for more details.
A Long Fight
At just 45, Criscilla, best known for the Netflix show, Country Ever After passed away after fighting a courageous fight against colon cancer for seven years. Initially, the news arrived via Lindsey Villatoro, a close friend. Apparently, the former wife of country singer Coffey Anderson passed away peacefully.
The backup star to folks like Britney Spears and Rihanna obviously knew that one day, her time on earth would end, because her letter seemed deep, and clearly, she chose her words wisely. When @countrymusictunes shared it on Instagram, many people felt moved by her words.
In it, the TV star who married Coffey Anderson in 2009 and had three kids, Ethan, Emmarie, and Everleigh poured out her heart. If you don’t know, she was also a stepmother to Coffey’s daughter, Savannah.

The Precious Letter
The moving post went out to Criscilla Anderson’s family, her community and friends, and also to her kids. In that part of her social media post, she penned:
To my children – my whole heart.
Ethan, you made me a mom. I’m still beside you, cheering you on.
Savannah, my bonus girl – you were a gift God knew I needed.
Emmarie, my Jesus-loving dancer – keep dancing through every season.
Everleigh, my bright spark — chase your dreams boldly and without fear.My babies… I am watching over you. When a moment feels warm, familiar, or too beautiful to be coincidence – that’s me. I’m still mothering you. I’m still yours. #everybutterfly

Fans React With Emotion
Many people followed the cancer journey of Criscilla who went into remission in 2021. Unfortunately, it returned in her lymph nodes but she showed a lot of courage as her time came to an end. With the kids, many folks just loved the words that she left for them to remember her by.
