Jennifer Garner Suffers A Heartbreaking Loss

Actress Jennifer Garner, known for Hollywood hits like Daredevil, Alias, and 13 Going On 30, among other films, recently hopped on social media to share some sad news with her fans. As per her Instagram, Jennifer shared the recent loss of her father. More on this story, below.

Jennifer Garner’s Father Passed Away Easter Weekend

According to Jennifer’s IG post, her dad, William John Garner passed away the afternoon of Saturday, March 30 at the age of 85.

While she admits there was nothing dramatic about her father’s passing, she did note that the family was around their father at his time of death.

She also added that they sang “Amazing Grace”, and jokingly questioned if the singing carried him over or scared him away.

She notes in the post how grateful she is for her father’s quiet strength and gentle demeanor. Jennifer talks about her father’s mischievous smile, his work ethic, leadership, and faith. She also mentions how he was an “all-in” girl dad.

The IG post had a photo collage of her dad’s life, both older pictures of when she and her sisters were young, as well as some more recent ones.

Jennifer Garner Thanks The Medical Community

Jennifer also takes the time to say thanks to local medical communities, both the City of Hope and the Charleston Area Medical Center for their care and how it extended her father’s life.

She also adds that there is so much to say about her, and her sisters will likely never be done talking about how “wonderful” he was. Jennifer also points out in the post that despite the long and incredible life her father lived, grief is never an easy thing.

William is survived by his wife of almost 60 years, his three daughters, and grandchildren.
