Tim Curry’s Passing

As per the report it sounds like police responded to an emergency call at 11:23 p.m. on August 25. Curry has been dealing with some serious health issues for years now.

Curry was a performer across all platforms, including movies, stage, theatre, music and television.

His health caused him to slow down after he suffered a stroke in 2012 and subsequently underwent brain surgery. Curry had been wheelchair bound since.

Tim Curry’s Legacy

Curry began his career in the later part of the ’60, and joining the cast of the stage production of “The Rocky Horror Picture Show” in 1973 really catapulted his career in 1973.

He eventually participated in the film version in 1975. “The Rocky Horror Picture Show: Let’s Do the Time Warp Again” was released in 2016. 

Curry also also well-known for his roles Pennywise in the 1990 version of “It”, a movie based on Stephen King’s bestselling novel, as well as “The Hunt for Red October”, “Home Alone 2: Lost in New York”, “The Addams Family Reunion”, and more recently, “Scary Movie 2”.

In addition, Curry was also in other films such as 1982’s Annie, 2005’s Spamalot, and 1996’s The Muppet Treasure Island, just to name a few.

The actor recorded albums in the late 70s and early 80s, which include: Read My Lips, Fearless, Simplicity, The Best of Tim Curry, and From the Vaults, which was released in 2010, but recorded in 1976.

Curry was never married and never had any children.
