That’s right: our favorite members of the monarchy, including Queen Elizabeth, Prince Charles, Prince William, Prince Harry, and even Meghan Markle are soon going to be our new binge-watch TV with Gary Jannetti’s HBO Max Animated Comedy Series, ‘The Prince.’ Luckily, we have a few details that you need to know about the series right here. Check it out below and let us know what you think!
#1 Toddler Satire
HBO Max is developing an animated comedy series satirizing Queen Elizabeth and her family. But what makes the series so interesting is that it will come from the point-of-view of 6-year-old Prince George.
#2 Through The Eyes Of Prince George
The account is told through the eyes of little Prince George, who is the eldest child of Prince William and Kate Middleton. He is also the Future King of England, behind both his father and his grandfather, Prince Charles. And more importantly, he is also the star of the royal family.
#3 It’s The Brainchild Of Gary Janetti
The series is the brainchild of Family Guy Producer and Instagram sensation Gary Janetti, whose own popular account has garnered attention for poking fun of the royal family and all of the media coverage that they receive on a daily basis.
#4 Poking Fun Of The Royal Family
The series will be written and produced by Janetti, who will also voice 6-year-old George. “I’m thrilled to be working at HBO Max and bringing them yet another series about a family ruthlessly fighting for the throne,” said Janetti. If you have been following his popular Instagram account this past year, then you will know why so many fans are excited about this show!
#5 We Finally Get To See An Animated Version Of The Royal Family
Let’s face it, everyone wants to know what is really going on behind closed doors at Buckingham Palace, right? “We’re so excited to bring the world Gary’s created on Instagram over to HBO Max, where our viewers can discover what his Instagram fans already know – that George can be hilarious, shocking, and surprisingly sweet,” said Sarah Aubrey, head of original content, HBO Max. “We can’t wait to see what Gary does with a bigger canvas to paint on than just a 1:1 square.”
