Kate Middleton’s time in the maternity ward was time well spent as she learned more about its work. This coincides with her work as part of the Early Years project, which looks at experiences between birth and the age of five affects people as adults. The Duchess is also the Royal Patron of East Anglia’s Children’s Hospices. The organization cares for both children and young adults who have life-threatening conditions while also providing support for their families.
