Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor: Exile looms As Dirt Piles Up?

Royal biographer Andrew Lownie dropped an incredible amount of tea about Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor, and it’s likely to impact the already tarnished image of the royal family. Read on for more details.

The Dirty Laundry List

Speaking with JJ Anisiobi on the Daily Espresso, Lownie revealed brand-new details related to his book. And, some that didn’t make it in because of a word count limitation. Actually, the previous allegations about the former prince seem rather pale in comparison.

The stories were not all connected to Jeffrey Epstein, but it does show, if true, that Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor seemed like a singularly unpleasant a person.

Allegedly, while Andrew launched an event in the Bahamas, a series of bizarre and unsettling requests were made on his behalf.

Per sources, Lownie learned that alongside trivial demands like wanting “lukewarm water” and hating music in elevators, he also asked for “a 16-year-old blonde.”

Predatory Behavior?

Lownie detailed what he opined was predatory behavior toward flight attendants and young women. The author cited a former Heathrow police officer who came forward with a story about a British Airways flight attendant.

According to the account, the prince grabbed her hand, swung her around, and “was basically sort of grinding into her behind.”

Plus, the biographer noted that the Duke often used a bizarre and humiliating chat-up line while dancing with young girls at parties. It seems as if one of his favorite lines was to ask, “What’s it like to have a royal…against your thigh?”

Aggressive With Animals

The conversation didn’t stop with stories about people being on the wrong side of Andrew. One of the stories involved a dog. Lownie recalled that he thought it involved a black lab named “Bendrix.” Rather shockingly, it happened in front of the senior royals.

The leak seems to have come from within the ranks of The Firm, as well. Allegedly, during a shooting weekend at Sandringham, Bendrix snatched a piece of food.

According to Lownie, “Andrew kicked him in the head.” And it was a guest who remonstrated with the prince.

While the late Prince Philip later privately told the guest, “thank you for doing that, Andrew needs a good scolding every so often,” no formal family boundaries were ever set. And as far as the author’s concerned, the royal family, “abrogated all their responsibilities.”

The Queen & Her Fave

Notably, it seems that Queen Elizabeth was aware of a lot of her son’s behavior, but never intervened.

Oh, and if you think Andrew and Charles are besties, you’d be wrong. Apparently, Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor can’t stand his older brother and is consumed with jealousy. Sound familiar?

Teddy Bears & Bullying

By now, you probably know about the obsession that Andrew had for teddy bears. That was discussed again, as were his heavy spending habits during overseas trade envoy trips.

Another anecdote involved an aide in the palace being made to “bow lower and lower” until he almost fell. Just for fun? Or an opportunity to wield the unearned power of his royal birthright?

An Expensive Burden

Lownie estimated that Andrew’s lavish behavior cost British taxpayers upwards of £50 million over the years. More allegations suggested that “embassies used to compete not to have him.”

Actually, the many revelations against Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor certainly isn’t helping the royal family who face increasing criticism over royal scandals.

An  Embarrassment To The Firm

A while ago, speculation arrived that the former prince might head off and live in an Arabian mansion somewhere in the middle east.

Well, as far as Lownie’s concerned, that could happen. In fact, perhaps the senior royals might quietly facilitate a “midnight flit” to see Andrew live out his days in exile.
