Royal scapegoat season has arrived. And that means pointing (in a very royal way, of course) at the culprit for Meghan Markle and Prince Harry becoming outcasts. However, not all insiders and experts agree.
For instance, did the Duchess and Duke of Sussex create their own problems by criticizing the royal family? Or did Meghan and Harry get unfairly ostracized for speaking out? Learn about the royally raging debate below.
Meghan Markle And Harry Push King Charles To ‘The Limit’
King Charles feels pushed “right to the limit” when it comes to Prince Harry and Meghan Markle, claims royal expert Charles Rae.
And Rae blames the Duke and Duchess of Sussex for attacking the royal family. As a result of the verbal bashing, Meghan and Harry created their status as “total outcasts,” added the royal expert via the Post.
“Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have become total outcasts,” stated Rae. As a result of their actions, the royal family removed “their HRH titles [His and Her Royal Highness] from the royal family website.”
And that means that the two cannot use the now-retired HRH titles to boost their careers.
But Rae also believes that the Duke and Duchess of Sussex “seem to do everything they can to upset the royal family.” And as examples, he listed “Oprah Winfrey, the Netflix series, s–ing off the royal family. They weren’t exactly supportive of the royal family,” complained Rae. And he insisted that the royal family remained “continually supportive of those two all the way through.”
Prince Harry Can Never Return To His Previous Life
And Rae also believes that the Duke of Sussex would not receive a welcome back “with open arms by some members of the royal family. It’s very much that old adage,” added the royal expert. Harry “made his bed, now he has to lay in it. It’s that simple. Too much has gone under the bridge now. However, I can’t ever see it being back the way it was ever again — with or without Meghan.”
But Meghan and Harry view their rocky relationship with the royal family in a very different way. For instance, the Duchess of Sussex shared via Us magazine, “I think I can very safely say as naive as it sounds now, having gone through this learning curve in the past year and a half I did not have any understanding of just what it would be like.”
And Harry noted, “I think you can have as many conversations as you want, trying to prepare as much as possible. But we were totally unprepared for what happened after that.” And problems began even before the couple tied the knot in May 2018. For instance, Harry and Prince William clashed over the speed of his relationship.
Meghan Markle Throws Shade At Royal Family
But after the wedding, Harry, Meghan, William and Kate Middleton couldn’t agree on a charity that they tried to launch as a group.
And an insider pointed to observing “definitely issues with Meghan and Kate seeing eye to eye on how they wanted to run this charity.” However, the Duchess of Sussex threw shade at the royal family.
And Meghan claimed that she “really tried to adopt this British sensibility of a ‘stiff upper lip.’ I really tried,” she insisted. “But I think that what that does internally is probably really damaging.”
And rather than cope with more clashes, Harry and Meghan stepped back from their senior royal duties in January 2020. The following year, they decided not to return to the U.K. to contribute to the royal family.
Tell us what you think. Do you feel that Meghan Markle and Prince Harry deserve the blame for becoming royal outcasts? Or do you believe that the royal family contributed to the feud? And after you share your views, check back on our site for more royal family news.
I think Harry is insecure and Meghan believes she/they are more important than they really are. They will have some small successes but never make the headlines like she would lije.
