Are Meghan Markle And Priyanka Chopra Still Friends?

Are they or are they not friends? That’s what many royal observers can’t help but wonder as there is a new report that suggests Priyanka Chopra has pulled the plug on her friendship with Meghan Markle. This comes after the Bollywood star was a no-show at Meghan’s star-studded baby shower in New York City.

According to Page Six, sources close to Priyanka suggest that she was absolutely “crushed” when Meghan and her husband Prince Harry failed to attend her wedding to Nick Jonas back in December. In fact, Priyanka and Nick actually had several wedding ceremonies in her native India but unfortunately, Meghan did not attend.

Many believe that Priyanka was so disappointed that Meghan didn’t show up to her wedding that she decided to skip out on her baby shower, too. The soiree was hosted by Meghan’s best friends, Jessica Mulroney, Serena Williams and Amal Clooney.

Reports Suggest Priyanka Is Hurt Meghan Didn’t Attend Her Wedding

Reports say that Priyanka was “bogged down” in Los Angeles with meetings about an upcoming book that she is releasing. Some sources have dismissed the Meghan Markle and Priyanka Chopra feud rumors, insisting that they didn’t attend each other’s events because of their schedules. Yet, Page Six says that Priyanka is still hurt that Meghan didn’t attend her wedding.

So far Meghan herself has not made any comments about the report, or why she didn’t attend Priyanka Chopra and Nick Jonas’s wedding. There’s speculation that Meghan didn’t want to take the attention away from the real star of the wedding, the bride.
