Now that they are back in the UK, a lot of fans can’t help but wonder if this upcoming holiday season is going to be an awkward one for all involved.

It goes without saying that we are of course talking about Prince Harry and Meghan Markle as there’s heavy speculation suggesting that they might opt out of a royal Christmas celebration this year, even though they are moving back to the UK.

Not only that, but many people can’t help but wonder if the royals are even going to invite Harry and Meghan and their two children to Sandringham, seeing how things are still so icy between them and other members of the royal family, like Prince William and even his wife, Kate Middleton.

The last thing anyone wants is an all-out fight between the two royal brothers during what could be Archie and Lilibet’s first royal Christmas experience, right?

Clearly, many royalists on both sides of the aisle had a lot to say about the matter on social media.

What’s Next For The Sussexes?

Some have even commented with, “Why would H&M even want to spend Christmas at Sandringham with a group of people who have made it clear they don’t want you around?”

“I predict that they will get invited but will not attend because either Doria will have flown into the UK for the holidays or the entire Sussex family will have decamped to their place in Portugal to celebrate there.”

Another critic of the royal family wrote, “I wouldn’t be surprised if they went back to California for Christmas to spend it with Meghan’s mom. Or most likely spend it with her at their UK home along with various Spencers and friends. Why would they put their children through such a horrible Christmas tradition at Sandringham?”

And then there was this comment as well: “Why do they think that Christmas at Sandringham is all that and a bag of chips? It sounds AWFUL to me.”
