Are Prince Harry And Meghan Markle Finally Giving Up Their Royal Titles?
For Harry and Meghan, as much as they love their titles, they just don’t want anyone to associate themselves with the royal family right now, given how they are dealing with a very dark moment, thanks to Prince Andrew’s name being all over the DOJ files.
That’s why some even think that Harry and Meghan giving up their titles would be the ultimate power move, if that makes sense.
In some ways, that would be showing the world that they simply don’t need the royal family as much as the royals might need them.
As many royalists can imagine, the internet had a lot to say about the matter on social media.
Some even commented with, “That would be a power move! Can you imagine if they stated it was for Moral & Ethical reasons!”

Another critic wrote, “Harry can’t give up Prince voluntarily, he can stop using it publicly if he wants. Same with the Duke of Sussex. It is a lot more complicated than just changing their names.”
What’s Next For Harry And Meghan?
And then there was this comment as well: “I’ve thought about this. Why wouldn’t they give them up, just so people would leave them alone? I can see their point, though. Why should they? Why should they give up any asset they have? Doesn’t that mean the haters have won?”
“Most importantly–Sussexes face a huge security bill every year, and they may need those titles to raise money. So for that reason alone, they should keep them!”
Now, whether or not Prince Harry and Meghan Markle actually do give up their titles remain to be seen, but so far the royal couple has not made any comments about the matter just yet.

Then again, at this point, it’s not like they have anything to lose and especially when it comes to their royal connection, right? For many critics, they think Harry and Meghan at this point are far better off without the royals and that they should keep it that way, too.
