Are Prince Harry And Meghan Markle Ready to Move Back to the UK?

Are Prince Harry And Meghan Markle Ready to Move Back to the UK?British royal family news reveals that Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have enjoyed living in several different locales, across continents. Prince Harry grew up in Kensington Palace and Highgrove House, in Gloucestershire.

Meghan grew up in Los Angeles then moved to Canada where she acted on the cable show Suits. Today they reside in California with Harry’s two kids, Archie and Lilibet.

Here’s a look at the glamorous (and average) houses the happy couple have inhabited.

The Montecito Mansion

In 2020, the Duke and Duchess of UnSussexful landed in Montecito, California, the only property that either have had the title to. Before this they borrowed Tyler Perry’s Beverly Hills compound.

The Montecito crib is an 18,000 square feet, Mediterranean-style house with a stripper pole, which they acquired for $14 million. The house has a chicken coop and The Cut described the residence as looking like “a classic Tuscan villa, a Napa vineyard.”

Harry At Clarence House

Prince Harry’s official residence was Clarence House in London with his father, Charles, from 2003 until 2012. At age 27 Harry moved to Kensington Palace.

In his memoir, Spare, Harry whined that his stepmother Camilla made his bedroom into her personal dressing room: “I tried not to care. But especially the first time I saw it, I cared.” This is what therapy is for Harry.

Meghan Lived in LA With Her First Husband

When Meghan was married to producer Trevor Engelson from 2011 until 2014 they rented a two-story Colonial in Hancock Park. The 1920s dwelling was a cozy 2,300 square feet with an open floor plan.

From 2011 to 2018, Meghan rented a Toronto apartment that she was eager to show off to her prince. He wrote in Spare “Meg was excited to show me her life, her dogs, her little house, which she adored.”

Nottingham Cottage

In November 2017 after their engagement, Harry and Meghan loved at Nott Cott a two-bedroom, two-bathroom dwelling with 1,300 square feet. Meghan didn’t seem impressed when she said on their Netflix reality show that “Kensington Palace sounds very regal … But Nottingham Cottage was so small.” Harry slammed the dwelling as having “really low ceilings … I don’t know who was there before, they must have been very short.”

Unwilling to be short, they left for Frogmore Cottage in 2019 where they made infamous and expensive renovations before declaring it unfit and defecting to America. On the grounds of Windsor Castle, Frogmore Cottage was a wedding gift from Queen Elizabeth.

After three years of living in the US, in March 2023 the traitors were asked to vacate the royal property which they eventually did but not before whining about being unloved. Where will they end up next? Tell us what you think royal fans!
