Argentinean Underworld Squealed On Plot To Kidnap Prince Harry

British royal family news divulges that two decades ago Prince Harry was the suspected target of a kidnap plot. Because of that, police beefed up his security over fears Harry was almost kidnapped in Argentina during his gap year.

Harry was 20-years-old when the alleged plot came to light at a polo ranch in Lobos, “60 miles from Buenos Aires, where he was staying as part of a visit in November 2004 to Argentina described in Cabinet Office records as his ‘ongoing education.’”

The Argentine government was informed by a local underworld figure about the plot and shots ended up being fired on that day after “The Security Ministry responded by sending a squad of 15 armed police officers to patrol the perimeter of the El Remanso ranch.”

Apparently a Cabinet Office meeting was held where it was stated: “Given the recent publicity about the possible kidnapping threat to Prince Harry, the Metropolitan Police should where appropriate seek advice on the possible risks of kidnapping in countries being visited by members of the Royal Family.”
