Omid Scobie’s “Endgame” proves that he is no fan of the Royal Family and that he remains sympathetic to the Sussexes to this day.
Since the book dropped, there’s been a lot of controversies, more so around the alleged racists named in “Endgame’s” Dutch version. However, Scobie has rarely won any favors with the book.
Arthur Edwards Calls King Charles A “Tirelessly Working” Monarch
King Charles is not going to be happy that he’s waited years to deliver his keynote address at COP28, only for it to be overshadowed by Scobie’s racism claims.
For years, Harry and Meghan’s claims of alleged racists have been casting a shadow over the Royal Family’s head, and frankly, everybody is fed up with it.
Writing for The Sun, Arthur Edwards shared, “When King Charles delivered the opening address at the COP28 World Climate Action Summit he will have been thinking about helping to save the planet. When Omid Scobie released his latest book about the Royal Family he was thinking about making money.”
He noted that the King has been invested in environmental issues for over three decades, and it would have been heartbreaking to have his moment stolen so that Scobie can make his coins.
“I’ve been to the Amazon rainforest three times with him, where he has pleaded with presidents to stop tearing up this precious resource,” Edwards added, “But rather than writing about these important issues in his book, Scobie has focused on petty falsehoods. As a result it has gone from one disaster to another.”
Arthur Edwards – Says Scobie’s Representation of the Royals Was Deceiving
Scobie’s account of the royals was far from flattering, but Princess Kate may have come out the worst of all, as he described her as a making of the monarchy.
He believed she changed herself so much, she’s become enigmatic even to herself, and all she does is smile and wave. He also hinted that she’s “lazy,” as opposed to her counterpart Meghan, who didn’t want to fit into the mold.
To this, Edwards disagrees: “His claims that Catherine just stands and grins at royal events couldn’t be further from the truth — she puts her heart and soul into every visit.”
As for the King, he says, “All I see is our King working tirelessly for the nation and the world at 75. He won’t dignify Scobie’s tawdry publication with a response in any possible way. Instead Charles will focus minds on stopping the world burning up.”
