Biggest Sign Yet That Kate Middleton Is Fully Recovered And Ready to Launch Back Into Royal Duty

British royal family news shows that the Princess of Wales’s return to public duty seems to be proceeding apace. She has had just a few public appearances since her March announcement in which she shared that she was receiving preventative chemotherapy for an unnamed form of cancer.

According to the Daily Mail, Kate Middleton and her husband Prince William “have set their sights on the Duke and Duchess of Sussex’s home turf as they relaunch plans for their charitable foundation in the US.”

The royal couple’s foundation focuses on mental health and sources claim that the announcement is further proof that Kate is progressing satisfactorily “on the road to recovery” and plans to return to “light duties” after chemotherapy.

Kate had an engagement last week, for her Early Years initiative which stresses the importance of under-fives receiving supplemental attention and direction.

In June she attended Trooping the Colour and in July she handed out trophies at Wimbledon. The outlet reports that “Last year, the Royal Foundation applied for a new US trademark centred on mental health projects, but the plans lay dormant after Kate’s cancer diagnosis” and now a “US lawyer acting for Kensington Palace has reignited the proposals.”

The Wales’s trademark was rejected in March, due to technicalities. Royal expert Richard Palmer said of the move: “Given speculation that the Princess might never return to full-time work, this is a positive sign that she and William have hopes of expanding the Royal Foundation in the US. Perhaps [it] wants to raise its profile to tap into American philanthropists?”

Joe Little, of Majesty Magazine echoed the popular sentiment that the Princess is on the road to recovery: “Clearly a lot of thought and planning has gone into this application, and we can only interpret this as a positive step.”
