During one moment of Harry and Meghan, Markle mocked the now-late Queen Elizabeth II over Royal family protocols. Information has surfaced about just how uncomfortable this gesture made her hubby Harry.
Meghan Markle – Mocks A Curtsy
During their docuseries, the Duke and Duchess of Sussex talk about how Meghan struggled to learn the proper way to curtsy for the Queen.
At this point in the documentary, the Prince admits, “How do you explain that to people?… Especially to an American.” While, Meghan added, “I’m starting to realize this is a big deal.” Then goes into detail on how she thinks it is ‘medieval’.
Meghan would proceed to curtsy in front of the camera, stating, “Pleasure to meet you, Your Majesty,” making fun of the entire situation.
On the one hand, how can one not laugh about an awkward moment, right? Yet on the other, it seemed to have made her partner feel uncomfortable. After all, it was his grandmother she was making fun of.
A Body Language Expert Chimes In
Judi James, a leading TV expert in body language, who’s not only written best sellers on the topic but has a four-part series about it, called “Naked Celebrity”, has seen the “curtsy” clip and recently offered her own insight. She notes that Meghan’s “curtsy” made her husband uncomfortable.
James states that “Meghan is a natural speaker during the interview and here she sits talking … in a gossipy style”.
In 2020, Prince Harry left the Royal Family with Meghan and their son, Prince Archie. The twosome would later claim the Royal Family exhibited racism towards Archie and shared these grievances publicly on TV.
Prince Harry and Meghan now live in California, with Archie, and they grew their family while in America by welcoming their daughter, Princess Lilibet.
