British Royal News says that if there’s one thing that Prince Harry wants most from his royal family members, it’s a genuine apology for the way they treated both him and his wife, Meghan Markle. But whether or not that actually happens remains to be seen. Here’s what you need to know.

During Episode 6 of the Netflix documentary Harry and Meghan, the Duke of Sussex says that he’s fine with the notion that he may never hear from his family members ever again, let alone get an apology from them. He said, “I’ve had to make peace with the fact that we’re probably never going to get genuine accountability or a genuine apology. My wife and I, we’re moving on. We’re focused on what’s coming next.”

“Everything that’s happened to us, was always going to happen to us,” he added. “Because if you speak truth to power, that’s how they respond.”

Harry alleged that Prince William’s office was in cahoots with the British tabloid media. Both he and Meghan suggested that there were negative stories being planted by the Prince of Wales’ office in order to bury stories about other members of the royal family.

That, and the couple also suggested that there were some royals that were simply jealous of the attention that Harry and Meghan were getting from the press as their popularity was growing.

Royal Family News: What’s Next For Harry?

What’s more, Meghan’s lawyer Jenny Afia claims that there was a war against the Duchess of Sussex involving the palace and the British media. That’s because the royal family would often plant negative stories about Meghan whenever one of their own were being reported on.

“There was a real, kind of war against Meghan, and I’ve certainly seen evidence that there was negative briefing from the palace against Harry and Meghan to suit other people’s agendas,” Afia alleges.

If that weren’t enough, Meghan’s pal Lucy Fraser also said that the royals were throwing her under the bus as well. She said, “Meg became this scapegoat for the palace. And so they would feed stories on her, whether they were true or not, to avoid other, less favorable stories being printed.”
