British Royal News: Camilla, Queen Consort’s Biographer Angela Levin Gets Roasted On Twitter

British Royal News says that while there are plenty of books about the royal family out there, it seems like some of them fair better than others. In fact, Angela Levin is getting roasted on Twitter for her new book about Camilla Parker Bowles, which has been simply titled as “Camilla.” Here’s what you need to know.

Royal columnist Omid Scobie couldn’t help but take a jab at Levin when he posted a screenshot at her Amazon release day chart debut. Unfortunately for Levin, her book is positioned at No. 881. Yikes.

Many of his followers commented with, “#MeghanMarkle hater Angela Levin is the author. Um, pass. They’re trying to rehab Camilla, who went from side chick to Queen Consort. No thank you,” along with, “It’s ranked even lower in the US. Only two reviews and they’re bad. From kindle readers who are reading it for free. So no money and bad reviews. Poor little tink tink. Oh well.”

British Royal News – Levin’s New Book Hits The Stores This Week

Another critic wrote, “They’re trying hard to rehabilitate Camilla’ reputation. It wasn’t just that she had an affair with Charles whilst both were married, it was her cruelty towards Diana during this affair. If I were Diana’ children, I’d never have anything to do with her again.”

Then there was this comment, “This (somewhat)restores my faith in humanity.Few people want to read about a woman whose only accomplishment is going from someone’s mistress to his wife,written by a woman who trades in hate & lies.May this book be remaindered tomorrow.”

Levin says in her new book that Queen Consort Camilla has gotten a lot of mistreatment over the years, and not just from royal fans and critics, but from within the monarchy as well.

Levin told British talk show Lorraine, “I decided that somehow I had to rebalance things. One was ‘The Crown,’ which I felt had been really cruel to her, and the other was actually Prince Harry, who had said really nasty things about her, too.”
