British Royal News says that there are some people out there who are criticizing Meghan Markle for speaking up. In fact, some critics are slamming the Duchess of Sussex for her stance on Roe vs. Wade. Yet some people believe that all the duchess is doing is making some “noise” for her own future political career. Here’s what you need to know.
British Royal News – Meghan Markle Slammed For Her Comments On Roe vs. Wade
As many readers know by now, the Supreme Court last week decided to overturn Roe vs. Wade, which means that abortions will be banned in many states across the country. And Meghan says that Harry was just as devastated as she was over the news. She also said that the ruling would affect “relationships, families, and communities at large” across the country. Meghan also said that she and her husband have been discussing the matter quite often in the past week. “He’s a feminist too,” she told Vogue. “And his reaction last week was guttural, like mine.”
Yet some critics believe that Meghan should apparently stay in her own lane. Royal critic Russell Myers, who often criticizes Meghan and her husband Prince Harry, says that she’s only speaking up because she’s trying to set the stage for her own political platform. He put it this way, “Now Meghan has said, you know, that [she] might be in Washington very soon. So does she have political ambitions? I do think she does. And she’s certainly rubbing shoulders with the right people and making the right noises. So, you know, sometimes it might not seem so ludicrous that she might stand for office because she’s certainly making the right noises.”

British Royal News – Does Meghan Markle Have Political Aspirations?
Another unidentified Republican congressman told the Daily Mail, “This is just another attempt from the ex-royals to insert their British drama in American politics. I don’t think anyone on this side of the pond cares for Meghan Markle’s opinion on killing babies. However, I think her running for President would be a great episode for The Crown.”
So far Meghan herself has not responded to any of the criticism.

This is idiotic commentary. This is EVERY woman’s lane. Every woman should and has the right to speak up when their independence and autonomy is eliminated.
And she has a daughter who this will affect. “British nonsense into American politics” – except they live in America and she is American. Yeah….no place at all talking about it./s
This is ignorant, drama fuel. The overturning if Roe V Wade is a travesty. Just because she says so does not make her have “political aspirations” – It is BS like this that is tearing us all apart. Stop.
