In a new interview with Closer magazine, royal author and expert Duncan Larcombe branded Harry and Meghan’s behavior as “unacceptable” because he believes as though they are acting like “royals for sale” in the U.S. That’s mostly because of their deals with Netflix and Spotify.

“Harry and Meghan are royals, but they are royals for sale and there’s no getting away from it,” he said. “In terms of the Palace, that is what is unacceptable about their behavior. You’re taking one of the most established brands and you’re lining your pockets in the US with it.”

Duncan sure had more to say about the Duke and Duchess of Sussex, too. He continued, “It’s sad because he was so loved. And the Royal Family work together and support each other. He is making a difference to people’s lives, but he was before.”

Duncan also believes that Prince Harry’s upcoming memoir is going to be an “October surprise” for the royal family. There’s speculation that a lot of juicy tidbits will be revealed in the book.

What’s Next For Prince Harry and Meghan Markle?

He told the Daily Beast in a separate interview, “Once the book is out, William will have to make a decision about what he is going to to do about Harry, but he is not going to do a thing until he knows what is on every page of that book. The reality is that if, as a senior member of the royal family, you have written a tell-all book, you have broken rule No. 1 of the royal family.”

So far Prince Harry and Meghan Markle have not made any comments about the criticism, although it’s doubtful anything will be said at this point.
