British Royal News: Prince Harry Granted Permission To Wear His Military Uniform At Queen’s Funeral

Talk about a change of plans, if not heart, also. British Royal News says that Prince Harry has been granted permission to wear his military uniform at Queen Elizabeth’s funeral. At first, the Duke of Sussex was only supposed to wear a morning suit, but it looks like someone behind the scenes made this last-minute change for him. Here’s what you need to know.

Royal journalist Omid Scobie tweeted out on Thursday, “In a dramatic u-turn, palace officials have informed Prince Harry that he CAN wear his military uniform at a final vigil. On Saturday evening, Harry will join seven other grandchildren at Westminster Hall to stand in silence for 15 minutes by the Queen’s coffin.”
He also added, “The reversal—first reported by The Mirror—follows Harry’s statement saying his “military service is not determined by the uniform he wears”, but it is understood the Palace caved to public sentiment after thousands complained about the decision to ban him and not Prince Andrew.”
Of course, it didn’t take long for royal fans and critics alike to weigh in on the matter. Many of them wrote, “They expected the public to be loyal to them as they were to the Queen. Majority of the Public’s love for the royal family ended with the Queen’s death. Now they’re being called out left and right,” along with, “This is so messed up smh. If I was Harry I would disrespectfully decline, but of course that’s me. Don’t give and take and give and take to make you look better playing with my emotions especially at a time like this. They are better people than most.”

Another fan said, “Yet what Andrew dud was far worse than H&M did – the former guilty of crime, whereas latter’s only crime is to maintain their own well-being in spite public opinion.”
And then there was this comment, “The BRF was being petty and vindictive by not allowing Harry to wear his military uniform in the first place. Yesterday looked bad and Harry stood out while the others look like his private security. A family that does something not because it’s right but because they don’t want to get backlash from the public… They don’t care about Harry, they only care about their nonsensical popularity.”

I thought this was wrong from the start and Harry should be able to wear his military attire especially for the Queen
Putting on his parts to wear a uniform of the country he has now been seen numerous times on social media videos to state he doesn’t even like! Obviously its the attention of wearing the uniform that’s important to him and not what the wearing of it actually stands for! His wearing of the uniform is an insult to soldiers, especially those who have given their lives for the love of their country and its people. The Celtic people who seek to be free from royalty are at least honest and stand by their views, which is more than you can say of stupid pathetic prince Harry, who would like to play both sides. As much as the Celtics hate the royals, even they must be disgusted by a prince who hates his country, would betray it and his own family but still wants to wear the uniform, the medals and parade around reaping all the benifits his royal life can provide. Whether you a royalist or anti royalist I think we can all agree none of us likes or wants the would be leadership or association with/or of a traitor like Harry. If anyone is honest Celtic, African colonial haters, do they really like anyone like Harry, a man who hates on his country and its people but all the while complaining he’s not getting his fair share of it, of its profits, privileges and all it stands for. Harry is the worst kind of hypocrite, as for Meghan, she doesn’t do him any favors but Harry is responsible for his own horrible attitude and behavior.
Jess you nasty man, all people have done is make horrid comments, he earnt the right to wear the uniform so he should be able to. Protocols need to change, no wonder he doesn’t want to be a full time royal.
