British Royal News says that this is probably not the way that he wanted to first learn the news. In his new book, Spare, Prince Harry admits that he first found out about Queen Elizabeth’s death from the BBC and not his family members, as one would expect. Here’s what you need to know.

British Royal News – Prince Harry Says He Found Out About Queen Elizabeth’s Death From The BBC

Prince Harry writes that on the day Queen Elizabeth died, he got a phone call from his father, King Charles, saying that the queen’s health was worsening. Yet, by the time his plane had landed in Scotland, he found out on his phone that the Queen had already died.

He wrote, “When the plane started to descend I saw that my phone lit up. It was a message from Meg. ‘Call me when you get this.’ I looked at the BBC website. My grandmother had died. My father was King,” writes Prince Harry.”

If that weren’t enough, Harry also said that his father made it pretty clear that Meghan Markle was not invited to see Queen Elizabeth in Scotland, but really didn’t specify why. At first, Harry had thought that maybe he simply didn’t want her to be there until he later found out that Kate Middleton wouldn’t be going to Scotland, either.

Harry also said that he got into a tiff with his father over whether or not Meghan should have traveled to Balmoral with him. “Don’t even think about speaking about my wife like that,” Prince Harry recalls saying to his father. “Regretful, he stammered that he simply didn’t want it to fill up with people. Nobody’s wife was going, not even Kate, he told me, so Meg shouldn’t either.”

“Then you should have started with that,” says Prince Harry’s recollection.

Prince Harry also wrote about his last conversation with his beloved grandmother. He said, “I spent almost the whole flight looking at the clouds, reliving the last time I’d spoken to my grandmother. We’d been chatting at length four days before. We touched on lots of issues. Her health of course, the chaos in Downing Street, the Braemar Games, which she was sorry not to have been able to attend because she wasn’t well. We also spoke about the devastating drought. Meg and I were staying at Frogmore and the lawn was in a really bad state. It’s like my head, granny, full of bald spots and brown patches!’ She burst out laughing. I told her to take care of herself and that I hoped we’d see each other soon.”

Prince Harry is having a mental health crisis. He wants family closeness but is doing everything to push them away. He needs counsel himself. Not with Megan. I believe that she is pushing him against family to feel good about herself. Unfortunately, Harry is going to have to have a reckoning with his actions. He is shameful to family due to his anger of being number two. Sigh…… grow up dear boy. Accept responsibility for not listening to reasonings of Queen before you left England. Think before you act. America is NOT enthralled with you nor your family.
