Prince William finally broke his silence on Mike Tindall’s participation on the reality television show, I’m A Celebrity, Get Me Out Of Here. Even though Mike isn’t a senior royal and is married to William’s cousin Zara Tindall, a lot of people have been criticizing him for his participation on the show. Here’s what you need to know.

While visiting the RAF Coningsby boxing club, the newly minted Prince of Wales was asked about Mike’s participation on the show. He was also asked who he thinks should win the show, Mike or Lioness Jill Scott. William simply replied with, ‘That’s a tricky one.”

Meanwhile a separate report suggests that Mike didn’t get permission from King Charles III to appear on the reality show. It’s been noted that some participates on the show are often asked to eat animal genitalia. Can you believe it?

This sure has raised a lot of eyebrows seeing how a lot of has been said and reported about Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s own upcoming Netflix documentary, which the royal family aren’t too happy about.

Mike will join other celebrities who will take part in challenges such as bug eating and being buried alive. It’s also been noted that the celebs who participate in the show get appearance fees that range anywhere from $30,000 to $500,000.

That said, this isn’t the first time that Mike has been on a reality show. The former rugby player also appeared on the Channel 4 winter sports show The Jump, in which he participated in a number of ski jumping competitions.
