British Royal News says that it might be a very long time before Prince William is seen in public or even leaves the house for that matter. One source close to the situation says, “William’s privately seething and devastated by what Harry has done. And just cannot forgive Harry for the things that he’s written.”
In the book, Harry says that his older brother attacked him at Nottingham Cottage back in 2019. The Prince of Wales confronted Harry about Meghan Markle’s supposedly rude and abrasive nature, but Harry said that his brother was just going off what the press was saying about the Duchess of Sussex. “It all happened so fast. So very fast. Harry wrote, “I covered my eyes with my hands. Had we not gotten over that? All of that stuff about the Heir versus the replacement? Were we not a bit too old for that tiring, child-like dynamic? He was married and had a baby on the way,” Harry continues. “Meanwhile, I would order food alone and do my dishes in front of the sink. My father’s sink! I still lived with my dad, [King Charles III]. The game is over, man. You win.”
“There has always been this competition between us, weirdly,” the Duke of Sussex replied. “I think it really plays into or is always played by the heir [and] spare [labels].”
