British Tabloids Took Advantage Of Meghan Markle’s ‘Struggling’ Mother – Left Duchess In Tears

The new book, “Finding Freedom,” written by Omid Scobie and Carolyn Durand suggests that British tabloids took rather unflattering photos of Doria Ragland, Meghan’s mother, and then published them. The photos apparently showed Ms. Ragland headed to a local laundromat in the Los Angeles area. This ostensibly provided evidence that Meghan Markle’s mother was financially unstable and struggling at the time. According to insiders, when Meghan Markle saw the photos and the stories attached to them, she broke down in tears.

Of course, this begs the question as to just why Meghan Markle began to cry when she saw the tabloid photos. Some might argue that tears began to fall because Meghan Markle was horrified at how these British tabloids chose to treat her mother. Others, however, believe that Meghan Markle simply wept because the photos made her look bad.

In other words, Meghan may have felt that the photos implied that her mother was struggling financially and Meghan wasn’t doing a thing to help her. This, of course, would have made Meghan Markle look cold and uncaring. This is especially true considering the fact that at the time of her stardom on the hit TV series, “Suits” Meghan had a net worth of over $5 Million dollars.

Some might also point to the fact that Meghan’s father, Thomas Markle has also evidently struggled financially, and Meghan is well-known to have an ultra-cold, barely civil relationship with him. (Indeed, some might argue that there is basically a “NO” relationship between Meghan and her father at this time. Indeed, some would point to insider accounts that Thomas Markle has sent multiple letters to Meghan’s home in Los Angeles, but they have all remained completely unopened.)

The truth is though, that Meghan’s relationship with her mother, Doria Ragland, must be a thousand percent better than her relationship with Thomas Markle. After all, it wasn’t that long ago that Doria moved in with the Duke and Duchess of Sussex. Now, there are many reports of Doria Ragland helping Meghan with everything from changing Prince Archie’s diapers to cooking up all organic dinners. If Ms. Ragland actually was struggling financially, it seems her famous daughter has chosen to help provide for her (and give her a place to live).

Some have wondered if Prince Harry is truly okay with this development, but friends of the Duke suggest there’s nothing to worry about. Apparently, Prince Harry and Doria Ragland get along quite well. That’s a relief to some, especially since it’s a stereotype that it’s hard to have a good relationship with in-laws … and Harry’s own friends have supposedly made fun of him for allowing the new living situation.

Others suggest that really, Prince Harry had no choice because he’s little more than a househusband anyway and he falls to his knees at Meghan Markle’s command. Whether that’s the case or not, one can say that the bottom line is this: If Doria Ragland truly was struggling and Meghan Markle helped her … well … that’s what a good daughter ought to do.
