While there’s no doubt in anyone’s minds that Camilla has always loved King Charles, she never intended on becoming the next queen of England. 

That’s because all she wanted to do was support that man that she loved, regardless of what would happen or where he would be later in life. 

But now that she’s in the position, Camilla knows that she has to make the best of it, even though there are days in which she would rather not make any public appearances or attend royal engagements. After all, at her age, all she wants to do is sit behind closed palace doors and read a good book.

King Charles and Queen Camilla might have had a very unconventional love story, but it’s more than clear that Camilla has never loved another man than Charles and that Charles has never loved another woman more than he’s loved Camilla. The two of them have managed to stand the test of time.

Royal Family News: What’s Next For Camilla?

Clearly, Camilla is willing to do anything possible for King Charles. But at the same time, she fears as though she can’t keep up with all of the demands that have been put on her on a daily basis right now.

That’s why she’s decided to retreat from the spotlight, despite the fact that her critics try to hound her every day by asking what she’s doing and where she is at all times.

Camilla never wanted to be the queen of England, but it’s a job that she will have to stick with for who knows how much longer.

So far Buckingham Palace has not made any comments about the matter just yet.
