There are new reports that suggest Camilla Parker-Bowles isn’t doing so well these days behind the scenes. In fact, the future Queen Consort of England has been forced to cancel a second engagement because of a chest infection. Here’s what you need to know.
Royal News: Camilla Parker-Bowles Forced To Take A Much-Needed Break
Both Prince Charles and Camilla Parker-Bowles have been keeping themselves very active in both their royal engagements and their public appearances. Just like the Queen of England, they have no intention of stopping or slowing down anytime soon. However, Camilla was forced to take a much-needed break by doctors because of a heavy cold that she was suffering from. The cold turned into a lingering chest infection, which also forced Camilla to withdraw from two events in less than 24 hours.
According to Royal Central, Camilla Parker-Bowles was scheduled to open the Fields of Remembrance at Westminster Abbey on November 7th but canceled only a few hours before the event. Clarence House announced on their official social media accounts that the Duchess of Cornwall would not be able to attend because of her health. They even noted that her condition had become “progressively worse” at the time.
For a lot of royal fans, this is concerning as they often count on both Prince Charles and Camilla Parker-Bowles to uphold their royal duties, seeing how they are going to be the next King and Queen of England. And while there is no doubt that the royal couple have had their fair share of drama many years ago, things have changed for the better, thanks to their growing popularity. Unlike Prince William, Kate Middleton, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle, there is no behind-the-scenes drama with Charles and Camilla, or at least nothing that is reported by the British media.
