British Royal News: Camilla Parker Bowles Is Finally Reunited With Her Grandchildren
According to ITV, the future Queen Consort of England said that she spent many long months in coronavirus isolation with Prince Charles at their private estate at Balmoral Castle in England. While their royal staff and handlers were definitely there with them to provide everything they would need, they did not have any of their family members around them.
The Duchess of Cornwall even said during the first few weeks of the coronavirus lockdown that the one thing she missed the most was hugging her grandchildren. Her son, Tom Parker-Bowles, has two children – Lola (12) and Freddy (10) while her daughter, Laura Lopes, has three of her own children, Eliza (12) and her 10-year-old twins, Gus and Louis.
Camilla said that after many months sheltering-in-place at Balmoral Castle, she finally got to see them just last weekend. But unfortunately, she didn’t get those hugs that she has been longing for. Still, it was nice to see them, as Camilla has a very special bond with each one of her grandchildren. She told ITV about her family reunion, “First-time last weekend. Not hug them – but see them. It was a great treat.”

Meanwhile, Prince Charles has not made any comments on whether or not he got to see his three grandchildren that live in the UK – Prince William and Kate Middleton’s kids, Prince George (6), Princess Charlotte (5), and Prince Louis (2). The Duke and Duchess have been isolating at their private estate near Norfolk with their family. Prince Harry and Meghan Markle and their 1-year-old son Archie Harrison have been in Los Angeles since late March.
