That’s because they’ve been targeted in a bizarre hate campaign in their town as someone has been plastering posters of their faces on them and demanding they pay the millions they owe in their debt to their creditors. As many royal fans are aware of by now, Carole and Michael Middleton were forced to sell their company, Party Pieces, as it was nearing bankruptcy. But the Middleton’s finances went bust in the process and they now owe millions to their creditors.

Someone is harassing the family so much now that they are forced to employ additional security on their end.

One source close to the situation told The Sun, “We are looking for more people to set up or fill Neighbourhood Watch schemes.

We need to catch whoever is doing this. While posters on trees may seem harmless, falling victim to a targeted hate campaign must feel intimidating for the Middletons.”

It goes without saying that many royal fans, critics and watchers have had a lot to say about the matter on social media.

Some comments have even included, “There are quite a few news-worthy stories out now exposing people for who they really are. The Middletons will not be the exception. We are now in the truth-telling era,” along with, “Instead of paying for increased security… pay off their creditors and the threats of hanging posters will most likely end. Common sense.”
