British royal family news reveals that Prince Harry and Prince William can’t keep avoiding each other for the rest of their natural born lives—can they?
Actually, they have done a great job so far, staying out of the same room for months on end.
But their forced restrictions could be coming to an end with two hugely important save the dates coming up. Read on to discover how William and Harold may be forced to bury the hatchet.
Royal News – William And Harry Finally Bury The Hatchet?
First, the estranged brothers could find themselves face to face at a VIP June wedding. On Friday, June 7 Hugh Grosvenor, The Duke of Westminster, will marry Olivia Henson at Chester Cathedral in England.
It’s been reported that King Charles and Queen Camilla are invited, although it’s unclear if Harry, the Duke of Sussex, and William will be in attendance.
Last December Page Six reported that Harry declined an invitation to the society wedding so as to avoid meeting up with William.
At that time it was reported that Harry called the Duke of Westminster himself with his regrets over not attending with his wife Meghan Markle.
Royal Family News – Will Harry Patch Things Up With William At A Wedding?
Things changed dramatically in the New Year, however. Among the serious developments engulfing the royal family, Princess Catherine announced in March that she is receiving preventative chemotherapy and King Charles announced in February that he is also undergoing cancer treatment.
Last month ITV’s Chris Ship reported that Harry and Meghan reportedly reached out to William and Kate following the news, and they also issued a tersely worded public statement.
Ship posted on X: “Harry and Meghan have both been in touch with their brother/sister-in-law but did so privately. It [is] not clear if that was a phone/video call or some messages of support.”
Royal Family News – Harry Expected In London In May
Additionally, royal expert Tom Quinn alleged that William and Kate wish to “make up” with the royal traitors. But he told the Mirror this month that their “the suggestion is not leading anywhere so far.”
Quinn stated that it would be “too awkward” for Harry to attend the wedding but William “can hardly avoid it as Hugh is Prince George’s godfather.”
He added, “Harry knows he can’t attend without Meghan and Meghan has absolutely insisted she won’t be there.”
In May, Harry is expected to be in London for the 10th anniversary of the Invictus Games so we’ll have to wait and see how things play out between the brothers at that time.
