That’s because it seems like there are less and less members who are willing to make public appearances and attend royal engagements on behalf of the King of England.

Just this past weekend, many royalists noticed that the royal family looked anything but their former selves while they were on the balcony for the Trooping the Colour celebrations.

In fact, it seems as though there were twice as many members of the family that attended the same event back in 2018.

That year of course also included Prince Harry and Meghan Markle as a married couple on the balcony for the very first time, too.

Clearly, royalists certainly did have a lot to say about the matter on social media. Some even commented with, “The balcony will be very empty in the next 5 years. Maybe Will will bring back a larger balcony once Charles dies. Hard to say.”

Royal Family News: Is King Charles Making A Huge Mistake?

Another critic wrote, “The thing is that the budget has not been cut. Just people. So more money for just Charles and William. They’re talking about reducing the amount of public money but last year they broke records for the sovereign grant.”

And then there was this comment as well: “I truly believe that in terms of sheer optics the worst mistake that Charles has made is the reduction of the balcony. It’s downright depressing now whereas before it created an illusion of a large, happy and healthy multigenerational family.”

So far Buckingham Palace has not made any comments about the matter just yet, although it’s doubtful that anything will be said about the matter. Watch this space as we have a feeling there is so much more to come.
