Maybe it’s just time to change the subject? There’s a new report that suggests critics want Prince William, Kate Middleton and the rest of the British monarchy to stop talking about themselves constantly. Keep reading below for everything you need to know.

Apparently, there are a lot of people who want to see the royals stop talking so much about their personal life and want to see them focus more on their charity work and their current affairs, if that’s even possible.

Per a new poll, about 75 percent of the general public would like to see members of the Royal family conduct more or the same number of interviews focused on their work. The same amount also said they want to hear fewer interviews about their personal lives.

Of course, the internet certainly has had a lot to say about the matter. Some fans and critics even commented with, “I think the world would like them to stop talking about the Windsors. I know I do but then again if they don’t talk about them with the truth then how will we be able to mock the unbelievable articles.”

Another critic wrote, “I don’t know why the British public would want them talking about social issues at all. But I certainly understand the desire for them to not talk about their strange, dysfunctional personal lives.”

“It kinda sounds like the British public doesn’t really know why they have this family of grifters and pedos hanging around on their dime.”

And then there was this comment as well: “What could the pampered royals possibly have to say regarding the real issues facing ordinary Britons?? When they attempt to work on causes such as homelessness, they are so desperately out of touch and self-centered that it’s painful to listen to them speak.”
