Did Prince Harry Just Hint That Meghan Markle Is Pregnant?

Did Prince Harry just announce Meghan Markle’s pregnancy? There’s excitement surrounding the former Duke and Duchess of Sussex. According to The Sunday Times, Prince Harry isn’t the one who’s welcoming a new child in the world. It turns out it’s his friend Charlie van Straubenzee and his wife Daisy. The couple welcomed their first child, a daughter named Clover, last week. Harry is named the godfather.

Harry and Meghan welcomed their first child, son Archie, in May 2019. But they didn’t reveal the names of their son’s godparents. It has been rumored that that the couple asked Charlie, a childhood friend of Prince Harry and William, to be one of Archie’s godfathers. And it looks like Harry is reciprocating the favor. Charlie spent most of his time teasing Harry when he was a dorm monitor at their school, according to The Sunday Times.

This report comes after rumors are swirling that Meghan Markle is pregnant. The couple could announce their second pregnancy in the next few months according to royal insider Omid Scobie, as per Express. He revealed the real reason why the former Sussexes won’t be taking on their new jobs this year. While the couple wants to be financially independent, their new plans could include another baby.

Is Meghan Markle Pregnant With Baby #2?

During an interview with Yahoo’s Royal Box, Scobie said: “I think the big thing next year is the launch of the Sussex Royal Foundation, that is their focus now. Although they’re technically not working at the moment I don’t believe for a second that they’re not spending time planning this because a lunch will be around the end of the first quarter, beginning of the second quarter, of next year. So that will very much really see 2020 for them. I don’t think we’ll see many new patronages or anything like that.”

“I think it will really focus on what they have on the table now – possible another baby, who knows,” Scobie teased.

Royal Pregnancy Rumors Heat Up

This rumor comes after the couple faced backlash for their response to the Queen for banning them under their official title “Sussex Royal.” Meghan and Harry claimed they wanted to continue using their brand name, stating that “there is not any jurisdiction by the monarchy or Cabinet Office over the use of the word ‘royal’ overseas.”

The couple has shown a desire to expand their family. And this could happen after they leave the British Royal Family on April 1st. The baby news could come sooner rather than later. It would be exciting news for the couple as they transition into their new lifestyle outside of the Royal Family.
