It’s just that Montecito, California dims in value when compared to the country he was born and raised in.

Prince Harry Speaks Candidly About Not Seeing the US As His Home

Prince Harry used his Remembrance Sunday letter to reaffirm his love for the UK. His words further hinted at a possible homesickness, and probably even a planned return in the future.

“Though currently, I may live in the United States, Britain is, and always will be, the country I proudly served and fought for,” he wrote, adding, “The banter of the mess, the clubhouse, the pub, the stands ridiculous as it sounds, these are the things that make us British. I make no apology for it. I love it.”

As beautiful as these words are, body language expert Judi James believes they contain more than just a showing of fondness and admiration for his home country.

Dissecting the letter’s contents, James explained, “‘Though currently, I may live in the United States,’ is the fascinating line though, both for its wording and its use of punctuation. ‘Though I now live in the United States’ would be a statement of non-negotiable fact.”

She added: “But Harry adds ‘currently’ and ‘may’ to make it sound less fixed and solid. The use of the word ‘currently’ sounds negotiable, appearing to hint at a return to the UK.”

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle To Miss Christmas at Sandringham Again This Year

Whilst Prince Harry isn’t all that keen about his childhood as part of the Royal Family, he does have a few things about the whole atmosphere that he enjoys.

For example, he has often spoken highly of the joy and togetherness that Christmas at Sandringham inspired in him.

“The whole family gathered to open gifts on Christmas Eve, as always, a German tradition that survived the anglicising of the family surname from Saxe-Coburg-Gotha to Windsor,” he wrote in ‘Spare.’

“Suddenly, everyone began opening at the same time,” Harry recalled. “A free-for-all, with scores of family members talking at once and pulling at bows and tearing at wrapping paper.”

Sadly, he and his wife are reportedly exempt from invitations at Sandringham this year again.
