Of course, these types of headlines about Prince Harry are designed to catch the eye and create a click. In other words, they’re clickbait and they aren’t fair in any sense when it comes to “reporting” what goes on behind the scenes in Harry’s family back in merry old England.
Now, some of these Royal News tabloids are reporting that Harry has deeply wounded Kate Middleton because his Endeavour Fund has transferred from under the umbrella of Royal Foundation, which Kate Middleton runs, to Harry’s sporting event, The Invictus Games.
Oh no! Heaven forfend! However, could this be? Isn’t this an insult to Kate? Isn’t Harry cutting more ties with his brother, Prince William and Kate Middleton?
The answer is that no, it absolutely is not an insult either to Kate Middleton or to the Royal Foundation. In case fans have forgotten, one of the conditions for Harry stepping away from his duties as a senior member of the British Royal family was the fact that he had to give up the use of the word “Royal” in all branding. Harry can’t associate any of his endeavors with that word.
Thus, this may simply be Harry abiding by the terms he agreed to with Buckingham Palace when he and his wife, Meghan Markle initiated “Megxit!” (Fans will recall that Harry also has the sussexroyal website, and is supposed to transition away from its use since it too has the word “royal” associated with it.)
Those who run the Invictus Games get it at least. As their Website notes, “The Invictus Games Foundation is delighted to announce that the Endeavour Fund has been transferred across from The Royal Foundation and into the work of the Invictus Games Foundation. The Endeavour Fund will continue to support the ambitions of wounded, injured, and sick service personnel and veterans but will now expand its activities across the international Invictus community.”
Honestly, aren’t fans of Meghan and Harry just a bit tired of all the hoopla that the paparazzi and tabloids have tried to create around the Duke and Duchess of Sussex? Aren’t they tired of constantly being bombarded with headlines screaming about the “heartache,” “heartbreak,” “grief,” “sorrow,” and “anguish” foisted upon Prince Harry and the entirety of the British royal family by people who simply want to bring in a few extra Quid?
The bottom line here, the important thing to remember, is that Harry’s charitable endeavors continue. The Invictus Games, the Endeavour Fund, everything Harry has been trying to accomplish in helping promote the ‘unconquerable’ character of servicemen and women, and their families … that all continues. Harry’s work to encourage wounded, injured, and sick service personnel and veterans to use adventurous challenges to support their rehabilitation … all of that endures.
One can hardly imagine that Kate Middleton or Harry’s brother William are experiencing “heartbreak” over that!
