In fact, there seems to be heavy speculation suggesting that the Duke of Sussex might have threatened to embarrass his wife Meghan with a royal divorce that would have left her shattered, both personally and professionally.
Did Prince Harry Threaten To Embarrass His Wife Meghan Markle?
Because let’s face it: without her royal title, even Meghan Markle herself knows that there’s no value in her brand anymore. That’s why, for better or for worse, she needs Prince Harry in order for her brand to survive.
Keeping that in mind, that might also be the reason why Meghan decided to move to the UK with Prince Harry, even though it might have initially been against her will. After all, she’s already made it clear in many different ways that she would rather not step on British soil if she doesn’t have to.
But for Prince Harry, enough is enough. The California dream has become a nightmare for him and he simply doesn’t want to live in America anymore.
And because the couple wanted to avoid an ugly custody battle which would have seen their two children, Archie and Lilibet, splitting their lives between California and the UK, they simply didn’t want to do that.

What’s Next For Harry And Meghan?
That’s why Meghan said she would cooperate and move back to London, even though that’s the last place that she wants to be in right now.
But, then again, she’s doing it more for her brand than maybe her marriage at this point. If there’s anything that Meghan understands the most, it’s that optics matter.
Now, whether or not Prince Harry and Meghan Markle’s marriage is going to last in the UK, remains to be seen. Watch this space as we have a feeling there is so much more to come.
