Talk about keeping things under the radar. There’s heavy speculation suggesting there is one royal couple out there who might have gotten a divorce several years ago and no one knew anything about it. Keep reading below for everything you need to know.

Per the latest reports, it’s being said that Queen Elizabeth and Prince Philip might have pulled the plug on their marriage before his death back in 2021.

That, or they might have quietly separated for the most personal of reasons. While no one knows if this is true or not, it seems like there might have been another woman in Prince Philip’s life – his close friend and confidant, Penny Knatchbull.

Of course, many royalists on both sides of the aisle certainly did have a lot to say about the matter on social media.

Some even commented with, “His real ‘wife’ for decades was that Penny woman that he lived at Wood farm with. The only non-relative allowed at his Covid funeral. He probably wanted to live out his final days with his real partner instead of continuing the facade for the press.”

Another critic wrote, “The media praised the longevity of the queen and Philip with this dynamic. That Penny had great respect for their marriage and always knew where she stood.”

“That the queen gave her full blessing for this arrangement and when the queen made her final visit to see Philip at the wood farm Penny was seen exiting in a car.”

And then there was this comment as well: “It would actually speak to their characters if they actually had the maturity to realize that they got married very young, people change, divorce for whatever reason wasn’t an option for the sovereign, and they still had to occasionally do public appearances together.”

“If it is actually true that Elizabeth accepted that reality and allowed her to be at the funeral to mourn the man she loved, I would respect her for it.”
