Does Controversial Meghan Markle Want To Be The Next People’s Princess Like Diana?

We’ve all seen the pictures of Meghan Markle dressing remarkably alike to the late Princess Diana. She’s been photographed in an almost identical black suit and hat, a very similar emerald green outfit, and a copycat blue and white floral gown.

Is her imitation deliberate? One writer thinks so and is speaking out against what appears to be a strange attempt on Meghan’s part to channel her late mother-in-law, calling the act, “creepy.”

Many Have Made Comparisons Between Meghan Markle And The Late Princess Diana

CCN writer Aubrey Hanson notes that at least one prominent royal watcher has suggested that Meghan glommed on to Diana as an influence way back in her younger years.

She reports that Diana biographer Andrew Morton has said, “I firmly believe Meghan Markle had a plan all along to use Prince Harry and his family’s name to further her acting career and financial opportunities.”

Is Meghan Markle Infatuated With Princess Diana?

Morton went on to say, “Such was her interest that (her friend) Suzy’s mother Sonia even gave her a copy of my biography, “Diana: Her True Story,” which remained on her bookshelves for the next few years.”

Morton added that Meghan’s obsession extended to the point that she saw herself as Princess Diana 2.0.

If that’s the case, Meghan has legendary stilettos to fill. Is she up to the task? That remains to be seen perhaps, but based on her luck with lawsuits, she might want to start acting less litigious and more regal if she wants to be seen as princess material.

Meghan’s Lawsuit Against The Press Has Been Reduced And Diminished By The Presiding Judge

On Friday Meghan’s lawsuit against the media, which one legal eagle said would have a chilling effect on freedom of the press if successful, was ripped up a bit by the presiding judge. He threw out parts of it, unimpressed with what Meghan’s legal team conjured up and cobbled together apparently.

According to Hanson, “there is little doubt that the books on Princess Diana helped shape a young Meghan’s idea of what being a princess would entail.”

Except that she seemingly forgot the parts relating to decorum and discreteness?
