Does Meghan Markle Feel Isolated By Her New Royal Life?

Meghan Markle might not be a household name thanks to her new title as the Duchess of Sussex, but there are some reports out there that indicate that she might be feeling very lonely behind palace doors.

In fact, one report suggests that Prince Harry’s wife is having a hard time adjusting to her new life as a royal and that she is even feeling pretty isolated without her friends and family nearby, too.

Before Meghan married Prince Harry, she had a wonderful life, traveling from Los Angeles to Toronto to film her hit legal television show, Suits. She also had a great social life with plenty of friends and family members that she could trust both in Canada and on the West Coast. But now that Meghan lives in London, all of that has changed.

She doesn’t see her mother, Doria Ragland, very often, and she has to be very careful about who she can trust and who she can’t trust in her life.

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex will make their first official visit to Sussex on 3rd October.

One source close to the situation even told Grazia Magazine in a new interview, “Losing touch with close personal friends has been a bittersweet reality for Meghan since officially becoming a royal. Not just because of the geographical aspect of where her new life is, but she’s also had to take a forensic look at who is in her circle and whether there is anyone left who might betray her trust.”

Luckily, there are some people who think that as the dust settles, Meghan will get used to her new life at Kensington Palace. It’ll only be a matter of time before she adjusts. The insider put it this way, “Meghan’s free spirit has been somewhat clipped because of what she’s married into, but it gets better as you get used to it.”
